My Espresso Martini
Espresso martinis are already a classic, but I love putting my own spin on them. Purists might say adding Baileys is a no-no, but trust me—it makes this cocktail irresistibly smooth and creamy. Here’s how I make mine:
Ingredients:
• 1.5 oz vodka
• 1 oz Kahlúa
• 1 oz freshly brewed espresso (cooled)
• 0.5 oz Baileys (because why not?)
• Ice
• Coffee beans for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Brew your espresso – Let it cool slightly so it doesn’t melt the ice too quickly.
2. Shake it up – In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, Kahlúa, espresso, and Baileys. Add ice.
3. Shake vigorously – The key to a foamy top is a good, hard shake for at least 15 seconds.
4. Strain & serve – Strain into a chilled martini glass.
5. Garnish – Top with a few coffee beans for that classic espresso martini look.
This version is rich, bold, and just a little indulgent. If you love a creamy espresso martini, you have to try it this way!
